Me and my flatmate's websites (Master Giraffe and DX Interactive)

Well we’ve been getting pretty bored lately, and me and my mate jokingly made up a character called Master Giraffe and have ended up turning it into a blog! haha basically its a space to put all the most useless stuff in the world in one place.

What do you guys think of the logo/design etc?

Its got some cool games on there; he is going really well. I’m sure many of you have played ‘bloxorz’ before.

I like the oddness of the Master Giraffe logo, I think that is pretty cool/funny. The rest of the blog is pretty standard, though. I would try to mix it up a bit. As for the portfolio website, I think it would work better as a full page site. The text could also use some working, mainly because it’s all just one color. Having a second (possibly third color) could really help things out.

I like the animation. It’s very smooth and feels natural. I would say everything to the right of the logo itself (films … login) should all be in css, not flash. For your mates site, I like it, but there should be feedback when I hover over options.

Edit: The blog site is pretty cool. I like it but the torn edges need to follow the sides of the page all the way down. Don’t cop out on that. :slight_smile:
So far as his portfolio goes, I think built_by is right. Filling the viewport would make it about a hundred times better. Its already pretty cool though.

master giraffe is cool as a character, the rest of the blog is … well, fine, I guess.

I like the portfolio site a lot as far as content/ style/ look is concerned, but agree the actual content frame could be a little bigger. oh, and it scrolls a little up-down when I turn the scroll wheel - I’m guessing it shouldn’t …

but heck, the man made bloxorz - all is forgiven!! BLOXORZ ROXXORZZZ :smiley:
