Well… Recently my computer just stopped working, completely out of the blue. Whenever I tried to turn it on, it would just make continuous beeps and not do anything else at all. A trip to the local computer shop informed me that my Memory is most probably stuffed, hence me buying 1GB of RAM to replace my 512MB. They are both DDR.
Now my computer is running, however it is still having issues. After a while of use of a certain program, or intensive use of a program (for example: multiple FF tabs open; MSN conversations) the program abruptly crashes. Sometimes the computer returns a BSoD saying something like “STOP 0x0000008E”.
I would like to have my computer fixed, although I don’t like the people in the “Servicing” department at the computer shop; they are very arrogant and unhelpful. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue (Not their arrogance)?
