Xerox deserved to have any ideas they have stolen…They had a chance to patent the mouse. And did not. The biggest mistake in modern history. The gave it away.

I think midpi is just to young is why he is a little unclear about how it all came about. You are taught all of this in a Computer History class midpi. Ren is on the money with her info. Bill gates has never invented anything he has stole, copied, and monopalized on what wever he could find.
Yeah… I found out that information in my Computer Networking class… changed my view of MS on the spot.
It´s a two chapter series about the computer advention, it covers all xerox-ibm-apple-micro$oft and internet history. It´s pretty cool:)

Mak - you are misunderstanding or misreading my message entirely! I said I don’t mind people not sharing my opinion about MS, so obviously, I am not addressing 3d-iva! I was only correcting mdipi on his claims of “MS innovation” but I think Syntax is right - he’s probably too young or too misinformed.
And just a small thing that’s bothering me - it’s "Steve Jobs not “Jobbs.” But I suppose it doesn’t matter… tha man does say “jagWIRE” instead of “jaguar.”
And again, the OS gui was well under way before Jobs even saw what Xerox was working on!
