Ive had this game since the end of last year and I didnt start playing it again until this week. Ive been meaning to finish it and get it over with but theres this one race i cannot somehow complete. I had other missions where its been harder but this one is not hard but simply out of the blue.
This is the race just after the Savo World Champion one in Japan and you go back to Paris where your car is the Torque JX and you verse Savo whose in the yellow car and Ivy in the red Car. You and 2 other cars are positioned in one direction and the other three in the other direction. You also start just under the Effiel Tower and basically you have to go to these checkpoints around the city in any direction and the finish line is also under the Effiel Tower.
The thing is that if I follow Savo whose the leader, it turns out I end last still since the other cars end up finishing near the finishling dot while im halfway across town. If I follow the other cars, i still come last and Savo wins it 
Is there somewhere to finish this race? Time Managment, own directions… ?
I dont remember what my stategy was just learn the map by heart and rush through
This game may not seem great to most online but for me I had a friend to play it with and we fooled around every game talking like we had british accents:P Oh man, the things we would say to people and the things they would say back :ne: Those were some good times. Not to mention I had the sweetest custom maps around;)

I can play nfs anyday but like i said previously, I want to actually finish it even though I can stuff it and play nfs. Ive had a look around and I have come up with combinations for which CPs i should cross first. The two most impirtant ones are the island and the one all the way next to the cathedral. By far, the island one slows you really down and the cathedral one is the most farthest.
Heres my route:
- Get the island one first.
- head straight for the cathedral cp
- Jump across the barge and go forward to the cp with the huge jump
- head for the cp on the highway
- u-turn out of the highway near the gas station and nos all the way to the finish line
This should work but I dunno how the game works. I only wish somehow savo crashes and I dont.
