No real spoilers
So last night I went to a premiere screening of the new comedy Pineapple Express, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. And I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.
The movie was definately a ‘stoner’ movie, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The humor was great. As with all of Seth Rogen’s movies, they could be 15 minutes shorter than they are as this one runs it at ~2 hours.
The action is pretty humorous, and in certain scenes you can totally see they are making fun of action movies (for example the scene they load up on guns). The acting was okay, it’s about what you have seen in movies like Superbad, Knocked Up, etc.
So the ultimate question being, would I spend $9 to see it?
Probably… I give it a 7.5/10
