whats the quickest way to move say 20 layers each with 100 frames in each across 1 frame.
eg… so everything starts on frame 2 and frame 1 is blank?

highlight the frames … cut the frames … remove all the blank frames … insert your blank keyframe in frame 1 and paste all your frames in frame 2 
i guess your question was …
don’t worry … all the frames will be distributed to its layer when you paste them
