Hey all.
Im new to flash. Im using both Flash 5 and Flash MX.
My problem is, I would like different sounds on different buttons, but after doing this, my buttons all make the same sound. What am I doing wrong and please help.

From the sounds of it you have a sound effect added to one of the keyframes of your button,
well if you copy and paste that button you will in effect still have the same button, this is fine if all your changing is the action script attached to it, but if you try to change any part of it i.e the sound effect you will automaticlly change all the buttons that you have copied and pasted.
The easiest way around this is to copy and paste your button onto a new canvas, change the sound from there and then (control=L) make sure you change the names of the items in your library panel (02,03,04 etc).
Then simply copy and paste it back onto your original movie, the idea is once you change the name of the item it is no longer recognised by the library as the same item from which it was copied.
