Hey everyone!! It’s been just a little bit since I’ve been around, but I’m working on the intro for our new site and it’s one of the last things I have.
I finally have everything the way I like it, but when I view the uploaded swf online my music is the normal speed, but the movie seems to slow down just enough that the music ends a few seconds before the movie does. It’s not cutting off, but the animation just seems to extend too long. I can’t tell where it’s slowing down.
The way my movie looks:
I have a preloader, a layer with my music, and 8 keyframes for my actual animation. Each keyframe contains a separate movie clip with picture and text animation and at the end of each clip it tells the movie to play the next frame (I have them labeled).
One thing I know is that the music isn’t really dependent on the animation at all since it’s just on a layer apart from everything else (like, if I skip frames while testing the movie the music doesn’t change, just the frames and animations) Is this the wrong way to do it? I’m not sure how else I can. I used the separate frames and clips to avoid having a zillion layers and frames that were confusing to edit if I needed to.
If anyone has any ideas and can help me out here I would REALLY appreciate it. I just don’t know how to fix it. If you’d like to view the swf I uploaded it’s here:

Thanks so much…
