I am working on a Flash based website for a friend of the family, and he wants me to include background music on his site. He has supplied on CD some chilled out music, but even ripping the particular track at the lowest bit rate using Windows Media Player the track is still 4.27meg. Therefore is there any software available that you can actually shorten the track which at the moment is over 7 minutes long?
Obviously if it also lets you rip at a lower bit rate than WMP that would also be great.
