MX and Tell Target

Hey guys…

Ive been away from the scene for a while, but Im back and have just got Flash MX.

I was shocked to find out that tellTarget command had been moved (cldnt find it at first Then, I found it in the “deprecated” actions. WHY??? Duz ne1 know wot this means???

Hi,

telltarget(myClip){
doSomeThing();
}

is now (since Flash 5)

myClip.doSomeThing();

deprecated=elegant way to say that it sucks. And it will probably NOT be supported in future versions, so you have to stop using it. It’s a tough world, man…
