Hey gang,
I downloaded an .FLA file from this tutorial…

…and as I opened the file Flash told me that there was an
“Unexpected File Format”.
I am not getting any Flash in my Browser. I am getting the ‘X’ image place holder where a .SWF should be.
I proceeded to close the file and after that, all of my .SWF files on my machine do not show up in my HTML (browser).
The .SWF’s do not show properly in Dreamweaver MX either.
The .SWF’s work fine individually but anything I create there after will not work in my browsers.
I have no idea what happened here.
(other than the version I downloaded may be a later version)

[color=black]Also, I have reinstalled my current Flash MX and I have redownloaded the most current Flash Palyer.[/color]
Can anyone give me some help/insight as to why this has happened???
(I want to make sure I do not do it again if fixed)
I am desperate. Much work depends upon fixing this SNAFU.
