Okay, so just ignore the corny title. Basically my question has to do with online communities, more specifically tech communities (just like the kirupaForums). I have wondered for a long time how a communities grows to be as big as this site. I mean lots of people have forums, but there are only a few (in relation to how many there are total) that actually grow to have many thousands of users. Tens of thousands! I think it would be really cool to run a community like this and I am sure a lot of people agree with me in saying that. I guess my question is just what sort of things can somebody do to get there starting community out there to people who actually know what they are talking about, who will come there often and be helpful. I know this is sort of a weird question but thanks in advance to anybody who could give me any ideas.
