Otherday i installed a popup blocker that provides great flexibility in terms of avoiding pop-ups. Soon after a pop-up is detected there comes another pop-up prompted and requested “should i block the pop-up”. The resulting factor is 6 clicks needed to block 3 pop-ups. Enjoy the versatile activities of pop-up blocker and may be this is called pop-up blocking

You may want to give Win XP’s SP2 a shot. The pop-up blocker for IE isn’t bad at all.

I know! Throw in the Google Toolbar for kicks (because we all love Google) and I have not seen a popup yet.
with SP2 you can actually turn off ALL popups!
Just control + click when you want to open one…great idea…why did it take microsoft so long to figure out that people hated popups?

Probably because now that IE, the browser that roughly 95% of people use, is blocking pop-ups, the pop-up marketing industry is decimated overnight. But that’s what the people want, it had to happen.
