My Mexico Trip - Photos

Well, I went to mexico for Thanksgiving holiday… my parents own a condo on the beach in Puerto Penasco Mexico and every year we go there to meet up with a bunch of my fam - anyway I promised some pics, here are four that I put together… I’ll post more after I finish going through them (I took a few hundred)… well here you are:

This one was taken from the car on the way, this is about 45min fom the ocean in Mexico.

Here’s a pic of the reef up to the beach (this beach as the third highest rise anf fall of tide in the world…Im only about 1/10 of the way out on the reef here)

Here is one taken from the back porch of my condo of the sunset… all the sunsets there are really amazing (plus its great when your back porch ends in the sand!)

This is another sunset taken form the same place, but it was after a tropical storm blew through so the sun was setting behing cloud cover - hence the ball of fire look:

Well, I’ll get some really good ones up here eventually, but thought I’d share a bit now!

Peace

…wishing I was still there (cant wait for spring break again!!):stuck_out_tongue:

killer photos ryall…

curious… do your parents actually own the land, or do they own a lease on the space?

I heard it was not possible for US residents to own Mexican land…

Oh, can I come visit? :stuck_out_tongue:

Rev:elderly:

Technically its impossible for ANYONE, even Mexicans to actually own the land - it is all gonvernment owned. In my parents case they own the CONDO which is on land Leased (on a 100 year lease or something) by a reality company in mexico. Kinda a weird system, but it allows the mexican govt to come and annex any land they want at any time, sinse they own all of it in the entire country.

Peace

Hey ther more the merrier!! :beam:

That’s what I thought…

I only asked because some friends lost their land, due to the gov’t wanting it back, and cancelled their lease…

I love the USA…

I don’t care what Phil says…

j/k Hazelnut…

Rev:elderly:

yup, thats why the govt likes that system!!

Long live USA!

::looks around for Phil - prepares to duck flying objects:: :stuck_out_tongue:

hahaha… only been there once, but I liked it…

Don’t go live there… unless you don’t have a g/f, or any other tie to the mainland…

It’s like a whole diff world, diff rules, diff classes… but all fun, and mostly women in very little clothing…

The worst time in Hawaii is still better than most anywhere else…

longest day of the year = 13 hours… shortest day = 11 hours…

every bar runs you a tab… the national pastime is getting drunk…

I had a whole lot of fun while living there…
