I went to a fuel protest this morning just outside Manchester.
Took over 300 photos and emailed 13 of them to the Manchester Evening News and BBC News North West Tonight.
Got a call from North West Tonight and several of mine will be featured on the news tonight!
Those in the UK (North West only) tune into BBC ONE at 6:30pm. Everyone else can view it online after it’s shown on TV at:
I’m so excited! Can’t wait to see which of my photos are going to be shown!

Haha will tune in to BBC, based in Knutsford and Oldham myself. Any chance they might mention your name?
Congrats man, that’s awesome!
Nice. How do they show photos on TV though? Is it like a slideshow or what…
Well they used one of them as a background image while the newsreaders were talking, I haven’t seen it myself but I think it’s a slideshow type thing.

I thought this too. How would they broadcast it, basically when a news channel generally quotes someone they usually have an opacity image as a back and then type reader style text begins to quote someone…
That’s really awesome! Good job!
