Hi, i have a problem with my preloader, the problem is that the loadbar doesn’t seem to load and the percentage text doesnt seem to change either, i followed the kirupa tutorial on creating a preloader, but it doesn’t work. I created the preloader within a movie in one of my external flash files, can anyone help me solve the problem?
That might be a path problem.

did you test the movie on anything besides flash. E.X browser window
i dont think it will work unless its in a browser window.

I’m having this same problem. I’ve tried everything. Mine doesn’t use the text variable for displaying percentage, though, but my load bar doesn’t move. It’s irritating me. It works on other movies, and then it doesn’t. I don’t get it.
I’d attach my *.fla file, but it is too big. I’m using the same preloader w/ percentage tutorial that most people use.
If someone can help, I think me and big would both appreciate it.
