I set out to make a machine interface as if it came from the world my short film is set in. I hadn’t used Flash before so I had a long way to go and ideas kept occurring to me about what I could do, leading to more things needing to be researched and implemented. I modelled the graphics in 3DS Max and animated the interface using Flash AS3. By the time I realised the implications of using AS3 for someone new to Flash it was too late, AS2 just looked weird and confusing to me! It was long road to code the actions I wanted. But it is done. :asleep:
I made use of this forum among many others to try and get my head around the things I wanted to code for this site. Thank you Kirupa, you really helped me get to the result I was trying to achieve.
