At the end of my rope, so I thought I’d give random strangers a go at my conundrum.
It’s been 3 months since I had a full time position. I’m currently doing overflow Flash development correspondence for a company, on part time. I’m volunteering at two places right now, using PHP, Joomla CMS, minor HTML and AJAX. And I am looking to get back in the game with a FT position and looking to explore Flash and PHP development on Facebook. I have about 3-4 years experience in the game, mostly as a Front-End Developer and a bit as a Back-End Developer.
Trouble is: I don’t know where I’m at in my career. Am I moving forward or swinging back? What I should do or not? Where to go? What to do? Should I upgrade or focus? – questions like that. Last year wasn’t my best, getting canned from one of my jobs, not finishing a product on a contract I had. My portfolio is kinda bland, too.
As stated, I just need direction and accoutability. I’m pretty lost. A good answer could suffice, too.
