Long story short, Atari Blitzkrieg (featured in URB, Rolling Stone and more) is working on a video game to coincide with the release of his latest album, New District 4040. He is creating the sprites and background and writing the story but doesn’t have as much time as he thought to handle programming.
The game is a futuristic, cyperpunk multi-level side-scroller, sort of like Contra meets Syndicate with the instrumental tracks from his new album playing throughout. It’s pixel-based and if you’re familiar with Atari’s work, that isn’t a surprise.
I will say that the work will revolve around Atari’s schedule so he’s loking for people who are flexible and reliable, so be able to build a rough shell at let Atari go in and add elements would probably be the best approach to development.
