Hey guys wassap, been a while. Anyways, im making a CD-ROM based presentation and it involves some 3d animations done in maya which i exported as a sequenced png and imported into flash but this thing is makign my pc so friggin slow and playback is horrible on slower machines.
So my main concern is how can i use the awesome 3d animations and not have the pc lag. I tried using director to export but on slower machiens all i get is a big red x and the flash projector runs choppy. I exported it as a avi and a mov imported to flash this seems to work best but i cant get a decent looking file it looks pixled, and not as smooth as the png imported files in flash. any suggestions???
Im using combustion to export the sequenced tiffs as a avi, so if anyone knows how to export a avi or a mpg with a transparent background if thats even possible (which i doubt) so i can use it in flash with some other imagery i will be using.
Any help is appreciated this is my first maya flash project since i wanna make it real nice cause swift3ds renders look childish, again any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys and gals
