Need objective crit

Been seeing the same thing for too long and need as much objective crit on this as possible.

Thanks!

i like it, but i think it’s a little bland. maybe add some rollovers for the menu. but first, i’d add some color to the about us and services page. the color photos on the gallery page really break up the black/grey/white mix nicely.

Exspect for the gallery your not using the full potential of Flash. one crit point about the gallery… When you click on an item you go into a new screen… Then you have to go back to the gallery to select another one. Maybe annything a next button. and a back button. Would make it easier…

Site… + points. Nice and clear… No exstra’s Maybe you don;t need them…
Gallery looks great…
The little Icon… in the browser… A great lil option… Makes you site stand out in the favorates… More site’s should use it… sadly they don’t

  • point…
No extra’s… Pritty boring… Exsept for the gallery…

:thumb::thumb::td::td::td:

2 thumbs up… Because of the gallery.

Thanks for the comments.

T-O I agree about the back/Foward button certainly worth adding. I supose the reason for having the back to gallery button is that we supply work to such a cross section of buisness that I felt they may rather pick the images they want to see from thumbs instead of sifting through loads of images that dont relate to them.

bwh2 I also totally agree about it being Bland!!! I will try to add some colour to the first to pages as its something that has also been bothering me.

I think I just realised early on in the process that webdesign isn’t my greatest strength so rather than do something which was cheesy and fussy I would stick to something very simple and clear let the CG visuals speak for themselves (thats not to say I haven’t wished I could come up with the type of websites I’ve seen here)

Thanks again for sparing the time T-O

i think its look good, changing the font i think will make it bit better.
good job

sany, your site reminds me a bit of mine not only in style but in that you want your work to speak for itself and the flash not to dominate…

i think you are very close to a finished article, i found it very uncomplicated to navigate and the right amount of information related to what you do and your past work…all transitions were smooth and nothing takes too long to load

you definitely need an accent colour…an orange or light blue poss. most colours will go well with the greys you have chosen. maybe have a rollover on the images in the gallery where a coloured border fades in around the image on rollover.

your body text font is good but the menu font comes up blurred on ie, especially when the button changes to grey. worth buying a font from fontsforflash.com??

if there is one thing i would change it is the need for colour…

very nice site tho

dafont.com or dafonts.com not sure, has free pixel fonts and an easy way to correct the blurred text is make it dynamic non-antialaised and then embed the characters. might need to make sure that the x y positions are whole pixels.

Thanks All…

I agree with all of you the fonts on the menu system are blurry I think its cause I tried to use a font which was chosen for our Ident and had no luck with taking the blur off even when aligned to whole pixels. I think it might have to be dropped or maybe I could colapse them? would that work?

I also totaly agree about the colour thing I just need to do the last 10% and settle on a colour that works.

Billystar: tottally right an accent colour used on the rollovers would add depth.

Thanks again
