hi,
for my forum i have a folder with about 80 user avatar images. they are all 30x30 pixels and are either .gif, .jpg or .png. so these are images that users have uploaded.
i need to download them to my desktop. normally when i need to download a file from my server i just drag and drop it onto my desktop and it always works.
so i first tried dragging and dropping the entire folder onto my desktop. i could see the avatars quickly being copied, but then it stops about 15 images into the transfer and says permission denied.
so then i tried doing a couple of the images one at a time. i tried it with 3 different images. when i drag them to my desktop it says permission denied and the file appears on my desktop but it’s 0kb.
i am using smartftp.
why can’t i download files from my server?!!!
