Can someone do a print Scrn and show me where the “Preserve Transparency” button is in Adobe PS 7.
As far as I can recall (don’t have it open to verify) but it is on the layers pallatte, I think it is a little check box (hover mouse over it and a tooltip should tell you)
Yes, it is a little checkbox in the Layers Panel.
Above where your layers are shown there are 4 checkboxes. The Preserve Transparency one is the checkbox that contains the checked grid of 2 white blocks and 2 grey boxes.
Now… on another note. I noticed you post this same exact thing in the Random section. DON’T CROSSPOST!!! I deleted the thread in random since this subject really should be in here.

Well, I have photoshop 7 and I do not see 3 checkbox’s anywere… I saw a tutorial with the check box in Photoshop 6 but I can find it no were in photoshop 7 here is a picture.
Oh, that is right, they changed it to no text boxes in 7 (and I use 7 too…lol).
Next to where it says lock:
There is a grid with 5 white blocks and 4 grey blocks.
Click on that.

hmm in PS 6 the had a list of thing you cuold do once you locked the ransparent pixels. Would you know were that is?
