Well, to help out Dan here…this is turning into quite bloody with Georgia almost declaring unilateral act of war on Russia. This is rediculus, not only is the premise really murky and no one really knows who fired the first shot, but civilians are getting shot at on purpose! Apparently both sides are destroying entire villages, and killing untolds amount of people…And to make matters worse, why is this happening right when the Olympics are occuring? I think the Russians need to be accountable for this…at least acknowledge that they had some sort of agressive action by pre-bombing Georgian bases. Those Russian Olympians should frankly feel ashamed that their home country is willing to go invade another country willingly and then claim is was for the own good of their country. Give me a break, they were afraid they’d lose the northern part of Georgia to Georgia…well, it’s their own ■■■■ country, if you don’t want to live in Georgia emmigrate to Russia…they’ve got tons of space.
Anyway, as of right now this almost seems as bad as the Lebanon and Isreal conflict recently…except this time its two actual militaries dueling it out. I hope both sides can realize that this fighting is really quite stupid, and the US should really step up the pressure especially when there’s US troops in Georiga as well.
