Hi.
I have created a new puzzle game that is based on the old Rubik’s cube…but with an important twist!!
I have personally spent a while playing this, as i am a big fan of puzzles.
However, any feedback in terms of gameplay etc would be a great help in ironing out the bugs!
The game can be located at http://www.slbpv.com/test/games/cubeo.html .
Thanks for the help!
I see your point, but i’m afraid this can’t be done.
If this method was used, you would never be able to move the centre cube.
I don’t understand. To move the centre cube I would click on the centre cube.
Sorry, i think there might have been a misunderstanding.
Your point is noted, and i will look into it.
Yea 2x2 would be easier. Maybe have an option to where the user could pick out how big they want the puzzle.
“Looks like a rubik’s cube. The instructions could be a little clearer. Something like, click a cube next to the open space to move it…”
Ok, that isn’t too much of a problem to alter.
“Buttons on main menu page need a defined hit area.”
This is being worked on.
“I would love to see animation when rotating the cube.”
What do you mean by this?
“Yea 2x2 would be easier. Maybe have an option to where the user could pick out how big they want the puzzle.”
Yes, i was considering making a ‘mini’ version that would be linked to this game. I will look into it.
Ah, ok. A bit difficult there.
On the one hand is the suggestion that the game is a ‘CPU Hog’, balanced with the suggestion for more frames.
Any suggestions as to which tade off would be best??
Also, i think i missed the comment about the ‘annoying navigational system’. What makes it annoying?? How would you suggest improvements??
Thanks.
