Hmmm that’s strange. It should be there… maybe I have slipped up somewhere…
Oh I just remembered something. Is the text type set as “Dynamic Text” ? You might have it set as “Static Text” I think and that’s why the Character button isn’t showing up. To check the text type, look at the very top left hand corner of the Properties box and see what it says.
Open up your library(ctrl+L) -> double click the A -> select the font you want -> chenge this line of code in frame 1:
tf.font = “Courier New”;
to
tf.font = “Your New Font Here”;
done.

When I opened up the library though, I couldn’t find the ‘A’ you are supposed to double click… where’s that?
