Hi im new to flsh and i just wanted to know if you are able to edit the letter type of your “MATRIX effect” to japanese a like font?
just edit the text box, and select a japanese font type 
Open the library, ull find a Font Symbol.
Double click and change the Font field to any other font u want.
There it is

And how do i put it in my webpage using dreamweaver? :q:

My guess is that you would have to download the Japanese font. To put the animation in Dreamweaver do this:
- Click Window then click Objects
- Then make sure that you have Common objects selected.
- One of the icons will be Insert Flash.
Then all you do is select your .swf that you want to put in.
Hope that helps 
Oh and that’s for Dreamweaver 4, might be different for MX but then again it might not be.

You could try using the Dreamweaver MX Help section and just search for “Inserting Flash” - that would explain it in a pretty straight forward way.

Well if you are going to download one of the above fonts, then for the font to show up in Flash’s properties font selection list then you will need to put the font file in the appropriate folder on your computer.
If using Windows then the folder will be called “Fonts” in a “Windows” folder. Just put the file in there where all the other fonts are.
Not sure how to do it if you are on a Mac sorry. And I may not be correct so speak up anyone if I am telling Lil DMX the wrong thing!
dude when i change the font for the “matrix effect” it doesnt show
does the font show up in the list of all the other fonts? or when you select it from the list it doesn’t show?
you might have to embed the font, I don’t know :-\
It does show up in the list but not in the movie. DUDE call me stupid but how do you embed the font in flash?
In the properties box, there is a button called “Character” click that and then a Character Options box should come up. Select Embed Font Outlines for: All Characters

yeah im using FLASH MX and yes the properties box is open
ah sorry, should have looked at where the thread was posted. My mistake. Well there should be a Character button. Click the text box and then check the properties for the Character button.
