Not sure if you guys are boxing fans, but I watched Bernard Hopkins get ripped off this weekend against Jermaine Taylor. But anyway so they have R-Kelly do the National Anthem, so I am like aaight dude can sing a bit this should be interesting. But why in the name of all that is holy did the dude turn the National Anthem into a stepping song? I know most people take a little artistic freedom with the Nation Anthem (especially that last note). But come on man. I dont want to hear the National Anthem over a “Swizz Beats” or “Neptunes” beat. It was pretty ridiculous.
Please stick to the Beyonce’s, Patti Labels, Alicia Keyes, Anthony Hamiltons…No man with braids should ever be alowed to do the Anthem…And I miss the old school days when boxers came out to Tupac and DMX…the choose real *** music lately.
