Nokia DKU-5 Data cable

Well I just got the dku-5 cable off my friend. I have the nokia 6610 and I have also installed the PC Suite which comes as software onto my pc. Though the only options for data transfer is com ports, ifrared and bluetooth. I can only use the dku-5 cable but where do I connect that too? Its a usb cable btw. Even though I have tried it through one of my usb ports, my computer doesnt detect it as “nokia 6610” but “new hardware”. It cant find the software for it as well. Does anyone know where the dku-5 cable goes into the pc>?

BEFORE you install the Nokia PC Suite you have to install the drivers for the DKU-5 Data cable.

You can download them on

Then you can (re)install your Nokia PC Suite. Your computer should now detect your cable automatically when you connect it to your PC.
