I’m very new to this medium so I’m probablly doing something incredibly wrong.
I am trying to do an effect similar to the menu effect found on this page:

What i have done is rendered a shape morphing in Maya4.5 then imported the 8 frames(tga’s) into flash and made a mc out of them for a rollOver and a rollOut effect.
The problem is that the buttons I made for the menu items don’t seem to register when the mouse is over them. They work fine when I use them outside of the morphing MC, but not when i have them inside it.
I probablly haven’t explained myself very well so I’v posted an example of what im doing with just plain shapes so u can get the idea:

I was wondering if anyone new where there was a tutorial on anything like this that might help fix my problem?
