The Music Publishers Association announced Monday that they are going to start cracking down on tab sites (guitar, drums, bass, everything). They will also be persuing sites that offer lyrics. Their reasoning behind this is that it is a copyright enfringement to write tabs for the songs.

This is bad for us guitar players. I’ve lived off tabs and would have never gotten this far on the guitar without them. I guess i have to get a teacher now.
Mxtabs.net is already gone because of this (I think).
