object rotates on its side in animate

I have several movie clips, when I checked the transform tool the little circle is in the center, but when I select the object the cross hair is on one of the sides. Therefore when I run the movie the object rotates on its side. How can I get the cross hair to be in the center of the object?

I found it! Select the object then Edit -->Edit symbol

I wonder if the Edit Transformation Point functionality does the same thing? :slight_smile:
