well these are finalists for my project… I’m just sticking with some things I was going to change… I’ll give it some time and look at it later to see if it was a good idea… the first is a general message (my fav) the second takes the same idea and makes it more specific (obvious I should think) - let me know what you all think (REV: yes I know about the type… it just works for me). the bottom one looks the best with the ‘vote’ using the tick in the ballet for the v in vote, really effective imo.
I like the second one better and here are a few things that bother me:
-the transparency of the tick
-the blue/purple colors don’t really fit in my opinion (‘yours’ and ‘individual’
-Maybe ‘choice’ could be a bit bolder; it doesn’t really look as strong as it should be… (maybe reduce the distance between letters - kerning)
agree with most of what mlkdesign has said above,
i would try a font called impact for “choice”. play around with its kerning as well.
Here is the final version (well for now) - I took your advice, IMPACT was almost exactly what I was looking for, good call, and thnx! I changed the purple/blue by taking out the purple hue in it… I wanted to keep the blue in there because I think it goes well with the slight blue tone in the background… the typo could use some work, but I’ve spent too much time on this already… for now it gets the point across and works for me… here it is:

it looks good, but I would make the individual look more like the yours, right now the individual looks lighter. And I would also put just a little space between the right of the “f” in “of” and the “c” of “choice”. Maybe just one px, or about the same distance as in the letter spacing in “choice”
looks very good though. I like it
