I am developing a web site entirely in Flash MX2004. I have found that when I make changes in the code and re-publish the SWF when I upload it to the web server and view it in a web browser it always shows the old version of the file, despite the fact that I have uploaded and overwritten the previous SWF. I have tried clearing the browser cache, but it still persists. I have tired both Internet Explorer 6 and the latest version of Firefox with the same results. And, get this - I have even deleted the SWF from the server and it STILL shows the old movie playing despite the fact that it has been deleted entirely.
It’s really freaking me out because I am developing the site for a customer and I can’t show them the changes I have recently made as I can’t see them on the testing URL I am using.
