Outer glow in flash

I was wondering if there is a way to create outer glow effects in flash, sorta like this site: www.motiongerm.com . I’ve played around with the ‘soften fill edges’ thing but it doesn’t look half as good as the site I mentioned. Am I going to have to create photoshop images and then put them into flash(long load time)?
