Pass html button click vars into flash?

If you check this page. You’ll see i have a flash module on the left side and html on the right side. If you click the little square buttons on the left you’ll see you can slide through the different bags. I would like (if possible) that when you choose an item from the drop menu on the right, it’ll update the left side flash to that color bag. If you choose a drop menu item you’ll see it’s using string vars to update. Is there a way to pass this into into flash and subsequently have flash update itself? I’m also using the [URL=“http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/”]swfObject to apply my flash to the page.

Any help/insight is greatly appreciated. And also is this possible?
