Just wanted to get some feedback on a site I just completed at http://www.pbcyouth.net
Its a HTM/FLASH mixed site, complete with a Flash “radio” that allows pople to listen to streaming audio.
Just wanted to know what you guys thought.
THe forum for the site has not been skinned yet, I’m workin on that right now and it will look exactly like the site when I am finished with it.

I’m not quite sure why you used flash as the header. It doesn’t
move, or load, or do anything but is an image. I was expecting
more since you advertised it as a flash/html site.
the colors are a bit bright, especially the bg color. I get the idea,
but you really could tone it down a bit.
I think the shoutbox is out of place at the top there. I’d rather
see a cool graphic or logo there instead, and move the shoutbox
down, or to the right and bottom instead.
The color for the buttons you chose is fine, but there’s no real
contrast to the bg color of the menu. That purple hides it too
much. I would say to add a precise little glow around the letters
to set the blue away from it.
You may want to break down the text on the main page into
categories instead of a long page like this. Makes it a long
scroll for visitors.
Pretty good layout, although a bit long as I said. Easy to follow,
which is good.

the header will be animated at a later date. The colors had to be used as they were the colors of the youth group (i do agree on the brightness issue) And as far as the shoutbox they watned it there as well.
