Did you test it on your server or on your computer?
If server: Then no clue, its 3:30am here, I can’t think.
If computer: It is because it is getting it right off your computer and doesn’t need to load.

but explain the concept of ‘show streaming’ on initial load up then, that SWF’s off my computer as well???
If you use the Show Streaming mode in the Flash Preview mode (hit CTRL+enter twice or go to View/Show Streaming) it will show your movie as if it were being downloaded on a low speed modem.
so why doesn’t ‘show streaming’ work with all the linked SWF’s, not only the first one?
No clue, I always thought (and still think) it worked for all loaded movies as well, I could be wrong though, I have never done it.
