So, the other day I actually tried to do something creative with ImageReady… which didn’t work out so well… and I thought to myself: “What is ImageReady, really?”, and I thought I should ask the question here, to all you people who know much more about graphics than I do… 
I have used PhotoShop quite a bit, and I understand a lot of it, and can do stuff with it… ImageReady seems completely different for some reason… for instance, I wanted to draw a box on my canvas, and had one hell of a time getting it to go in the right place, and look right… What are the reasons why someone would use ImageReady over PhotoShop? What are the pros, and cons of both applications, and what do people use them for?
I’d appreciate all the insight I can get on these matters, because I may like to know more about ImageReady.
Oh, and I think I remember someone, once telling me that ImageReady was for Vector images, and PhotoShop is not… but… I don’t remember now…
