I have seen this problem on many sites, but I don’t know how to get around it. When I fade in a .bmp , .jpg or .png (as a movie clip) the image shifts on the last frame of the fade. I’m sure this has been answered before, but I can’t find it. Thanks in advance to whoever can help me…
I don’t think I have ever had the problem when just fading the picture in, but I have had it when masking an image.
This is just a bug in Flash, which apparently must be unfixable since it has been around for a while.
That’s too bad. I thought MX maybe would’ve fixed this. Thanks for your help.
this problem really bugged me for a while. the way I worked around it was to put a stop on the frame right before the last one that the _alpha is 100 percent. there’s virtually no difference in image clarity, and more importantly, there’s no shift!
I will definitely try that - thanks for answering!
I have seen that before, and it is definitely a bug, no fix as of yet. I simply end up doing the piece over or adding frames just before the shift and deleting the frame where it shifts…
Good luck!
