Man, I’m pissed and very upset…got a call from my mom that their dog, a cute little thing, was attacked by a pittbull today while she was out walking it…they walked by a house and this dog came running out and grabbed my mom’s dog by the neck. People came running out of their houses with bats and hockey sticks to get the dog off of poor Shamrock. I guess this dog has attacked people before too, and I ask “Why is this dog still allowed to be in society?” The house is on a school route, which means at least twice a day elementary school kids walk by the front of this house. What has to happen before it is put down? I know there are good dogs and bad dogs, but more importantly, there are BAD dog owners. My parents’ neighbour is a cop, and he got a call about it before my mom even got poor little Shamrock home. He called the police, and they said that he has to call Animal Control, which he did and they met with my mom this afternoon…man, I’m just so upset about it, she was my dog for a couple years too, until I moved out…she’s hopefully going to be ok, she has some cuts and stuff, and tomorrow mom and dad are taking her to the family vet to see if there is any internal damage, and if so, she’ll need surgery…man I just don’t get it!!! Why would you keep a dog around that has such a bad temperament?..It attacked a neighbour once while he was taking out his garbage…they know the thing is dangerous…ugg
Shamrock as a puppy, though she never did get much bigger than this…man, I’m pissed!!!
