I have come up with a new site design and I just want to make sure its going in the right direction. I still have work to do on the copy, but let me know how the site runs and presents itself. Thank you for your time.

Looks like you have something going there.

Two things I would do:

  1. Center it.
  2. Make the nav buttons at the bottom stand out more. Maybe make them red, like the stuff at the top.
