Please help, active x issue :( kinda long

Hi all,

First i want to express how much i appreciate this forum, i have been able to create an entire webpage using the information found on this site… THANKS!!

Let me explain my problem, i have no html experience to start off with, i have an awesome webpage that i made with flash mx, but im having a problem. When i try to run the page (when i click on file>publish preview>html), it loads fine, brings up internet explorer, but has this yellow bar at the top that says:

“To help protect your security, internet explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or active x controls that could access your computer. click here for options”

then you click it, select yes… yadda yadda im sure you know the drill.

I searched on here and found several threads with different links to “fixes”, but i just flat out dont understand what its telling me to do. I have a main page called index.fla, then i have about 13 different external .swf’s including little videos, buttons, etc…

So i download this .js file or whatever, put it in the same folder as all of my .swf’s and .fla’s, and then it tells me to put all this code and stuff into my html… this is where im lost.

Could someone please explain it as if i have no idea what im talking about… infact… dont pretend

Thanks guys, your awesome!
