Pleather Rip

Hey guys, my friend has a pleather chair, the kind where it’s only held up by two metal rectangles criscrossing. The seem in the middle started ripping and now it’s a big rip. I tried ducktaping it but it doesn’t seem to be able to handle sitting too well. Any ideas how to fix this?

Staples? Melt it?

If duck tape can’t do it, nothing can! You could try to sew it?

I don’t really have thread/needle on hand. :frowning:

i think they sell like pleather or leather repair kits… but it’s cheaper to just buy some epoxy.

hold the rip together and spread epoxy on it… i think we did that once and it worked great

no guarantees though, i’m basing this off what I remember of a leather chair we had like 6 years ago

Aargh! It’s DUCT tape! DUCTTAPE!!! :hurt:
