Okey lets hear it but theres a few things i would like to explain…
This will be a combo of my personal portfolio and the design firm iam running we have mostly been active with in video and print productions so this will be an alternative to our regular site in an attempt to show more of our “web skills”
Its far from done so alof of things will change and be added but atleast the basics are getting together… What i would like to know most about is…
What about the fonts in the recent project/news, also the colors in the very same area…
The first picture is the main page will loading the heavy header movie and the second picture is also from the main page but with the header loaded, the head is a dummy picture for now but i wanted to show you the idea, i wanted to break of the red with other strong colors…
We have good expirience of xml and mysql so there will also be a great admininstration system oh and alot of animations and movement when the site goes live…
The body text is too thick, it makes it look bunched together and hard to read. The headers are fine, but the dark red is hard to read.
I like the top image area, but I think if that gets too busy, you’re going to loose the effect of the nav options across the top. They could also do with being up a few pixels, to put them, vertically and horizontally, in the middle of the sections of the bar.
I like it though. I’m always afraid to use darker colours in company sites, as I find they tend to scare people off, but this works nicely. The red glow draws the viewer into the site nicely.
Okey i have done some more work now, i changed some fonts and modified some texts, remade the menu and moved it down a little…
I still have a few problems with the “latest news” and “current project” labels… i want to break with a diffrent color on the text but iam not sure the yellow fits… also the menu looks empty and should be remade again, maybe some more menu options… what do you guys think?
