When a user posts a response in a thread, is that post automatically visible to whoever is viewing that thread at that time? Whilst I am aware of subscription to feeds, do forums have this automatic update feature whilst the user is looking at the page without the need for the user to manually refresh the page?
Is this common/uncommon in web forums?
