I am pretty rusty with flash, and was just wondering the best way (in terms of quicker loading) to export a mini flash website using Adobe Flash with Actionscript 3.
I have placed a preloader on frame 1, and then a movieclip containing all my content on frame 2.
I read somewhere about changing the ‘export from frame 1’ option in the actionscript 3 publish settings. So I changed this to export from frame 2, which is after my preloader and where my movieclip content is placed.
Does this approach sound alright?
I would also like to know if containing all my content in a movie clip instead of on the main timeline will actually make a difference in terms of loading time? :S
