Where am I going wrong? I followed all the instructions on this site for the preloader with percentage bar. When I test my movie in flash using appropriate bandwith settings it all works fine.
Now however, I have contained the movie within a page made on dreamweaver. On broadband this is fine as the movie plays instantly. On a slow modem connection nothing at all appears. The movie does not appear to load. I see no sign of a preloader.
I know the file is very big for modem connections (about 800k) but I thought it should still work all be it very, very slowly.
