Preloaders with linkage?

Finally an active FLASH MX forum and great to be a new member.

My question, is it possible to use a Preloader with just one frame that uses a linkage? My .swf is basically a scrollpane that has images to choose from and once clicked loads other .swf files on level 1. I heard about the export in first frame and disabled it and had the file on (off) stage to reference to. But my preloader still doesnt work when I bump everything on frame 2 and used frame 1 as the loader.

I did a search in here and no solutions. Help me?

Unforunately when you set things through the linkage properties to export to actionscript they also export to Frame 0.

This means that these have to load before your actual movie loads, including your preloader.
