Ok, we all know that if you register a domain, you gotta give your name, address, & phone which will show up in Whois.
There’s no way to get around having your name show, but some registrars have a privacy service that will substitute their PO box and phone for yours… for about $4 - 5/mo.
However, if you’re going to register several domains, it’s cheaper to just get your own PO Box…
But what about the phone #? The cheapest thing available seems to be getting a number to a voicemail service. Anyone tried that?
And what if you let that number lapse without updating Whois… any problems?
